Cranial Sacral Therapy

Cranial Sacral Therapy works with the cerebral spinal fluid to help the body heal itself. The treatment includes different holding positions to stimulate deep relaxation alleviating muscle tension, headaches, vision, and hearing disturbances. When you feel touch your body focuses on that area and becomes aware of any issues and works to naturally unwind and heal.

The Cranial Sacral system is the membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the bones of the skull, face, and mouth of the cranium down to the sacrum tail bone area.

By working with the cranial sacral system any number of issues can be resolved. If you experience headaches, migraines, balance issues, eye, or ear pain this might be the perfect therapy for you.

Cranial Sacral Therapy is performed on fully clothed clients and administered by a series of holding positions in order to encourage and facilitate the body’s own natural ability to heal. This type of therapy allows the body to unwind by relieving stress on the central nervous system. cranial sacral therapy uses light pressure to perform an advanced form of bodywork.
