Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy is a treatment that uses platelets found in your own blood to help naturally stimulate hair growth. Blood is withdrawn and spun in a centrifuge for several minutes. As it spins, blood plasma will bond with other reparative factors within the sample to create PRP. What is Micro-Needling?

Microneedling is a form of Collagen Induction Therapy that improves the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, and stretch marks.

Controlled micro-injuries stimulate the wound healing process and stimulate collagen production. This helps remodel the scar tissue in acne scars and fight the signs of aging.

We use the only FDA approved device in the US to perform this procedure with safety features like one use cartridges that lock you out once removed.

Who is a candidate?

MicroNeedling is intended to be used as a treatment to improve the appearance of facial acne scars or for general skin texture improvement in adults aged 22 years or older.

The SkinPen® Precision System’s clinical study was conducted on adult men and women ranging from light to very dark skin (Fitzpatrick skin types).

Who cannot do Micro-Needling?

Does Microneedling Hurt?

Will I need more than one treatment to achieve my desired results?

You should discuss treatment goals with your doctor. In the clinical study, patients were treated in a series of 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. It is recommended to avoid other facial aesthetic treatments the month following your SkinPen Precision treatment.

Is there down time?

Yes, the day of the procedure there is social downtime, by the following day, your face might feel somewhat uncomfortable to you, but should appear normal to others.

After your treatment, you will look like you have a sunburn and may have some pinpoint bleeding. Please allow 7 days of healing before an event.
